Some useful tools.

I see that the link to mapmyride has been posted on this page. I find this website useful in many ways. I use the mapping function to record and plan routes, useful also for map making for training rides.
I also use the training tools to log all my training and have setup an online training group. I will be trying to encourage my teammates to use this group.

Premium membership also provides century training plans, these can be adapted to your riders.

I have also setup a team page http://ridetocure.home.mchsi.com

Does anyone know of other useful sites?

Thanks for all you do for JDRF and the Ride to Cure!

  1. Great team site! We are lucky enough to have a computer guru on our team as well to help set up a team site...we use it for all sorts of stuff--rider donation links (like yours), ride info (like yours), sponsorship info, a training calendar, etc. It's a great idea to have a home base for your team and for recruiting those interested in joining your team. http://www.jdrfwestmichigan.com/ride/

Tim, what do they charge for the premium membership at mapmyride? Worth it?

  2. I don't even notice I believe it is $15.00 quarterly, though they often run specials.
The premium does remove the ads from the map space which is really annoying.
